English: St Mary's RC Church, Fernyhalgh, Broughton Built and completed in 1794. Consecrated 12 August 1795 by Bishop Gibson, Vicar Apostolic. There had been a chantry chapel in 1348, and Ladyewell House was used as a Presbytery and Chapel from 1686 until the present church was consecrated.
