Summary

Description
English: Family tree of the ancient Egyptian "Smet family", a priestly family that produced several prominent priests at the temple of Philae in southern Egypt in the 4th to 5th centuries. There are some gaps in the tree owing to all family connections not being known. Follows Dijkstra & Fokke (2005) and Cruz-Uribe (2010). Nesmeterakhem, who created the last known hieroglyphic inscription, is underlined. Figures who were priests of Isis are in bold and women are in italics.
