Summary

Description
English: Sawley railway station (site), Derbyshire
Opened as "Breaston" in 1839 by the Midland Counties Railway, soon to become the Midland Railway, on the line from Derby to Nottingham and Leicester, the name was quickly changed to "Sawley" in 1840. It closed in 1930 due to the close proximity of two other stations, and it was remote from the nearest settlements. View north east towards Draycott and Derby.
