Català: El Saló de Contractacions és la peça arquitectònica més destacada de la Casa Llotja de Mar, ja que es conserva des del període medieval.
És una gran sala de 14 metres d'alçada, amb quatre columnes i sis arcs que sostenen els forjats de fusta del pis superior. A les petxines dels arcs s'alternen els escuts del rei i de la ciutat de Barcelona, ja que van ser Pere III i el Consell de Cent els qui van impulsar la construcció de l'edifici. Aquest saló ha estat testimoni de la primera òpera representada a Barcelona, dels Jocs Florals i d'altres esdeveniments culturals. |
