English: Star of South Africa (1952) ribbon of the South African Defence Force, 44 millimetres wide with three green bands in the centre, all 3 millimetres wide and spaced 6 millimetres apart.
Afrikaans: Militêre dekorasielint van die Suid-Afrikaanse Weermag: Ster van Suid-Afrika (SSA) (1952-1975), vir buitengewoon voortreflike diens deur opperoffisiere. 'n Silwer ster bestaande uit agt vyfpuntige sterre van verskillende groottes was opmekaar geplaas is. Dit hang aan 'n oranje halslint met drie groen strepe. Tussen 1960 en 1975 is 20 SSAs toegeken.
