Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Ormeniş, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp de argint, se află două dealuri verzi. Pe dealul din dreapta broşează o creangă de pelin de argint, iar pe cel din stânga se află un buchet de colilii de aur. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află un zid crenelat de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate Colilia aminteşte de legenda locală a fetiţei ucise de tătari, pe mormântul căreia creşte această floare. Creanga de pelin face referire la dialectul maghiar al localităţii, Urmos. Zidul crenelat reprezintă importantele vestigii dacice de pe Tipia Ormenişului (sanctuar şi aşezare). Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
