Summary

Description
English: Satellite image overlayed onto historical locations of RAF Kalyan, abandoned runways, Kalyan Array (India's First Radio Telescope) and Bhabha Atomic Research Center Facility. RAF Kalyan was built in the early 1920s, but was abandoned after the second world war in 1947. The Kalyan Array was India's first radio telescope, a T-configuration solar grating array erected near Bombay (Mumbai) in 1965.
