Phra Bisal Sukhumvit, who, along with Luang Sukhum Nayapradit, went to the U.S. to "persuade the United States to reduce the demands she might make on Thailand as a result of the latter's standing in the war, and to arrange for measures to help relieve and rehabilitatte Thailand after the war."
