To allow for critical commentary and discussion of the magazine. It is felt that a fairly recent edition of the magazine is needed to represent its current style (the sole image at present dates back to 1997!) |

No. Because the sole purpose of the image is to illustrate the unique qualities of the Atari User cover, any substitute that is not a derivative could only serve to tarnish or misrepresent Atari User's image and fail its purpose of identification and commentary. |
