English: First Class Restaurant Reception Room on the 'Titanic' (1912)

Interior of the passenger liner 'Titanic' (1912): a photograph of an original drawing mounted on card, showing the design of the First Class Restaurant Reception Room, on the Bridge Deck (B Deck). The view is looking across to the starboard side. The doors of the Restaurant can be seen in the background. A label on the negative has the size of the original drawing: 27 x 16.5 inches. Bedford Lemere & Co daybooks state that this photograph was taken for the design company Aldam Heaton & Co in March 1912.

The First Class Restaurant Reception Room was a lounge area where passengers could meet prior to taking their seats in the Restaurant, it was decorated in the Louis XVI style.
