English: Nicholson (Or Kashmeri Gate) Cemetery Nicholson Cemetery is situated on the opposite side of Inter State Bus Terminal at Kashmeri Gate.The cemetery is named after Brigadier General John Nicholson greatest British hero of "1857 War of Independence "( Indian Mutiny).General was fatally shot while storming of Lahori Gate during recapture of Delhi by the British forces.This monument was included by the British in list of protected monuments. It was restored in its original state in October 2006.
