Summary

Description
English: Newport: the Vision of St. Gwynllyw Legend has it that St. Gwynllyw (anglicised: St. Woolos) was converted to Christianity when he was told, in a dream, to find a white ox and, at that place, to build a church. The church no longer stands but on its site is the cathedral of St. Woolos, about ½ mile from here.
