Summary

Description
English: Part of a technical display at the London Science Museum: a McLaren Mercedes MP4/14 Formula One car, driven by Mika Häkkinen during the 1999 German Grand Prix. Häkkinen crashed on lap 25 due to a tyre failure, resulting in the car hitting a barrier head-on (hence the damage to the nosecone). As of 2016 the car is no longer on display.
