Summary

Description
English: The monument aux morts of Marquéglise in the Oise region features four high-reliefs around the pedestal by Marcel Pierre de Bréel. These show various stages in the life and death of a soldier. At the top of the pedestal is an allegory of France topped by a helmet bound by laurel. "France" holds a crown of laurel in each hand. The work was executed in 1924.
