Summary

Description Original drawers containing insect specimens donated to the School of Agriculture of Canterbury University College (now the Lincoln University Entomology Research Collection) by Frederick W. Hutton. In 1880–1882 Hutton was Professor of Biology at Canterbury College (and later director of the Canterbury Museum), and taught natural science at Lincoln with half his salary paid by the school.
