DescriptionKaslo Bay, BC (Municipal Heritage Site IMD19030).jpg
English: The Purcell Mountains dropping to the shore of Kootenay Lake are the backdrop to this sample of boathouses and anchored boats in Kaslo Bay, part of Kaslo Bay Park, Kaslo, British Columbia. This bay was the eastern terminus of the Kaslo & Slocan Railway (K&S) which, beginning in the 1890's, hauled silver-lead ore from the Selkirk Mountains just west of Kaslo to where it could be further transported by sternwheelers.
