Summary
| Description |
English: Curiously the castle is grouped as a "Crusader castle" in Wiki Commons. It's a bit like calling the Maginot Line a German defense line: the fortress was built to defend against crusaders, not by them. There is a small museum with finds from the area, such as some Roman glassware and a few objects made of clay, amongst them oil lamps, and some fragments of mosaics. A view through its corridors. |
