English: This portrait of Millais is from “Artists at Home: Photographed by J. P. Mayall, and Reproduced in Facsimile by Photo-engraving on Copper Plates,” published in London by Sampson Low, Marston, Searle and Rivington in 1884. The photograph shows Millais in the studio of his house at 2 Palace Gate, Kensington, where he lived until his death in 1896.
