Mirabilis laevis var. villosa—wishbone bush. A member of the four o'clock family found in the White and Inyo mountains, rocky places and brushland in the deserts of California and other western states. Like all four o'clocks, the flowers open in late afternoon and close around 10 am on sunny days (a bit later on cloudy days.)
