Summary

Description
English: Skin lesions that proved to be impetigo. Impetigo is usually caused by Group A Streptococcus sp. or Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Note how the maculopapular lesions resemble syphilis, which is caused by the Gram-negative Treponema pallidum spirochete.
