English: "An unvaccinated patient likely suffering from hemorrhagic smallpox in a 1925 Milwaukee, Wisconsin, epidemic. He died from smallpox. A physician reported that the patient was a Christian Scientist who "'thought that he could by power of mind prevent smallpox.'"
