Summary

Description
English: Baroque Fountain Terrace or Lion Terrace. The terrace is contemporary with the house, dating from 1838-44. The lions which give the terrace its later name were brought by Mrs Van der Elst from Clumber Park. The terrace is separately listed Grade II*, and is undergoing renovation.
