Summary

Description
English: The tea plantations are located at a range of altitudes, from about 1000 to 1700 meters. Uva is located in the rain shadow of the central mountains in Sri Lanka receiving ample rainfall in winter but being exposed to strong dry winds in late summer. The mellow, smooth, unmistakable character and exotically aromatic flavour of Uva tea is easily distinguished.
