English: Shri Chaitanyadev visited Chhatrabhog with His intimate Followers and took a bath at Ambulinga Ghat. At that time the river Ganga ( The Ganges) divided into hundred mouth from Chhatrabhog. He very much pleased watching this Shatamukhi (Hundred mouth). To commemorate this event the follower of Shri Chaitanyadev from Mayapur visited this place 25 th May 1930 A.D. They set up a pair of foot print near Raghab Datta’ s Dighi. Now there a temple has been built , popularly known Gour Pad Peeth. |
