Description
English: Blue Plaque commemorating the Glasgow Rent Strikes and Mary Barbour. Plaque is sited at 10 Hutton Drive, Linthouse, where a famous contemporary image shows a Rent Strike gathering occurring. Mary Barbour banner created by local craft group Bead 'n Blether and artist Geraldine Greene in 2012. The banner was commissioned by artists t s Beall and Matt Baker for a larger creative project titled 'Nothing About Us Without Us Is For Us', part of the Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art.
