Summary

Description
English: Fort of Jhalawar known as Gagron Fort the 6th world heritage site of Rajasthan state surrounded between rivers of Ahu and Kalisindh. it is one of the forts known as Jal Durg because it is surrounded by river water. in rainy season it seams like the fort is floating in between the water. fort has big walls for defense against the intruders. our visit is during rainy season with bike while rainy clouds are also mounting above with camera and zoom lens with us. we faced rains and it becomes tricky to protect camera when you have two wheeler but we manage to get a glimpse of fort in front. now the world heritage site is well maintained and handled by government and archaeological survey of india restoration work had been completed with sign boards arond wells, armory, stepwell, rooms, stables johar kund, gallery, queen room, and etc are placed for tourist. passenger train as well as other trains are well connected to Jhalawar from Kota and now from Jaipur (direct also).
