Description
English: Frankfurt on the Main: City and surroundings in the early 18th century; the somewhat fanciful, highly overdrawn borders of Frankfurt by Johann Baptist Homann have been corrected in green according to Friedrich Bothe. Homann himself published a variant of his map showing in precise detail the actual territory of Frankfurt, including its exclaves (see below).

Jahrhunderts, die von Johann Baptist Homann stark übertriebenen Gebietsgrenzen sind hier nach Friedrich Bothe in grüner Farbe berichtigt. Homann selbst hat eine Variante dieser Karte veröffentlicht, die die tatsächlichen Grenzen Frankfurts einschließlich der Exklaven zeigt (siehe unten).
