Deutsch: Plakette zum Gedenken an die Gründung der deutschen Zentrumspartei 1870 an der ehemaligen Posthalterei / Haus Pieper am Marktplatz in Ahlen, Deutschland. Text:

In diesem Haus fand im Mai 1870
die Gründungssitzung der
Zentrumspartei Deutschlands
statt.
Herrmann Mallinckrodt - Haus Küchen
hatte dazu Gleichgesinnte eingeladen
darunter den Legationsrat v. Savigny
Prälaten F. Hülskamp, B. v. Schorlemer-Alst,
sowie Vikar Schräder St. Bartholom. Ahlen
neben dem Gründungsbeschluss bildete das
— Erste Ahlener Programm —
das wesentliche Beratungsergebnis
dieser historischen Sitzung
