Summary

Description
English: Fort Point Light is a river beacon lighthouse on the Penobscot River near Stockton Springs, Maine. It was established in 1836 to aid in navigation of the Penobscot River between Castine and Bangor, and is the oldest river beacon in Maine. The current building dates from 1857. It is now part of Fort Point State Park.
