Description
English: The front facade of Flint Laboratory. At present it is used as the offices and classrooms of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The filled-in window was part of a temperature controlled storage room originally used in the building's days as a dairy laboratory, it is unknown if it is still used today. Note the statue of the cow's head over the doorway. At one time the building also accommodated a "dairy bar" not unlike the one on the UConn Storrs campus, that space however is still used for "Fletcher's Café", a student-run restaurant managed by hospitality majors.
