Today at Iveagh Gardens live music, song and dance was on offer for all to enjoy from 12.00noon – 6.00pm. I was there between 3pm and 4pm and the attendance was not nearly as good as it should have been … maybe the security restrictions resulting from the Queen's visit followed by Obama's visit had a negative impact.
A number of Donegal artists performed throughout. Moya Brennan, Mickey Joe Harte, Boxtie, The Perfect Mix and many more with 'THE HIGH KINGS as the headline act.
Up to twenty tourism sectors were represented to showcase the many quality attractions, activities, events and hospitality options that County Donegal has to offer including: Equestrian, Golf Clubs, Adventure Sports, Attractions, Islands, Gaeltacht & Irish Colleges, Self Catering, Hotels, B&B, Hostels, Marine Tourism/Angling, Tour Donegal, Festivals, Events & Theatre, Hill Walking, Retail, Guesthouse, Getting to Donegal and Crafts. This year Donegal Food Coast provided samples of the best in Donegal cuisine supported by Donegal County Enterprise Board.
