Summary

Description A U.S. Navy McDonnell F-4J-35-MC Phantom II (BuNo 155807) from Fighter Squadron VF-92 Silver Kings about to hit the crash barrier aboard the aircraft carrier USS America (CVA-66). VF-92 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 9 (CVW-9) aboard aboard the Americafor a deployment to Vietnam from 10 April to 21 December 1970. Note that the arresting wires have been removed.
