Summary

Description
English: This is one of many possible designs for a Perovskite-Heterojunction tandem solar cell, similar to DOI:10.1039/D2EE04007G. The left side labels refer to the Silicon heterojunction (SHJ) bottom cell and the right side labels refer to the Perovskite top cell. The bottom cell absorbs longer wavelength light that is not absorbed by the top cell. Perovskite absorbers have a larger bandgap than silicon, so they are potentially more suited to converting shorter wavelength light. The PDMS is pyramidal textured Polydimethylsiloxane anti-reflection coating.
