Description
Español: Estatua de Don José de San Martín, en la Plaza San Martín de la ciudad de Córdoba. Nótese que aunque el procer de la estatua es San Martín la estatua no es en homenaje a él sino a los soldados caídos en las gestas libertadoras sanmartinianas. Es por ello que la estatua presenta al caballo con las dos patas delanteras en el aire, lo cual en la simbología de las estatuas representa a los caídos en combate, mientras que en las estatuas dedicadas al propio San Martín el caballo posee las 4 patas en el piso, representando su muerte por vejez.
