Summary

Description
English: A rotor from a small DC fan motor. In the center is the armature winding, wound on the steel magnetic armature. The motor's armature has 6 poles. On the right is the commutator which provides current for the windings. Small countersinks in the outside of the armature are for mechanical balancing.
