Object history
Deutsch: Das Flammenschwert ist das Attribut des heiligen Michaels, des Patrons der Pfarrkirche von Rimbach. Das Schildchen in Rot und Silber erinnert an die Familie von Pelkofen, die seit 1640 Inhaber der Hofmark Lichteneck war. Die Burg Lichteneck war ursprünglich der Mittelpunkt der Hofmark, zu der große Teile des Gemeindegebiets gehörten. Die Pelkofen ließen unterhalb des Burgstalls ein neues Schlössl und 1719 die Pfarrkirche erbauen.
