English: Castles of Munster: Rockstown, Limerick This five storey tower atop a rock outcrop, commands fine views from its position overlooking the Limerick countryside north of Lough Gur. Nothing now remains of the parapet, and of a machicolation covering the entrance, only the corbels are left projecting over the top. |
