English: NB: This object was restituted to the Republic of Indonesia by the Netherlands Secretary of State for Culture and Media on July 10, 2023.
Nederlands: Schildering. De houding waarin de vrouwenfiguur is geschilderd is ongewoon en vertoont een Europese invloed. Links tegen de bergwand bevindt zich een stenen vrouwenfiguur waar water uitkomt. In de bomen valt de gedetailleerde weergave van hertshoornvarens op.
Aan de achterkant van de schildering bevindt zich een bijna complete cirkel met een zittende vrouw in het midden. De rand van de cirkel is versierd met bladvormige ornamenten. Waar de cirkel, linksboven, niet gesloten is, is een kalakop te zien die een hap neemt. Het geheel is met pen en inkt uitgevoerd, maar de vrouw met potlood.. Een vrouw met een kind op de arm staat in een landschap met een rivier en herten. NB: Op 10 juli 2023 door de Nederlandse Staatssecretaris van Cultuur en Media gerestitueerd aan de Republiek Indonesië. |
