For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Anlegen eines Grabens
Zentralbild Krisch-Leske 27.2.1961 Jugendobjekt Lewitzgebiet Die Jugendlichen des Bezirkes Schwerin stellten sich die Aufgabe, das Grabensystem des Lewitzgebietes instandzusetzen. Im Jahr 1960 waren 1200 Freunde im vierwöchigen Einsatz in diesem Objekt und schafften dabei einen Wert von 960.000 .- DM. Unter anderem führten sie Meliorationsarbeiten im Wert von 373 400.-- DM und Wegebau im Wert von 281 900.- DM durch. Im NAW wurden 2346 Stunden geleistet. Der LPG "Ernst Thälmann" in Tramm wurde im NAW eine 2 ha große Kälberkoppel eingerichtet. Für das Jahr 1961 haben sich die Jugendlichen des Bezirkes Schwerin vorgenommen, im Lewitzgebiet Werte zu schaffen, die weit über 1 Million DM hinausgehen. UBz: Weithin ziehen sich die Gräben im Lewitzgebiet. Mit einem Grabenräumgerät oder Bagger werden die Gräben ausgehoben. Danach werden die Böschungen und die Sohle der Gräben mit der Schaufel planiert. Von links nach rechts: Klaus Jakubowski.
