Summary

Description
English: From 1944 to 1948 Bryant Fedden attended Bryanstone school in Blandford Forum, UK. He was taught art by Donald Potter. In his first year there, aged fourteen, he created this small stone sculpture of a bison. This sculpture was described by Lesley Greene, in her forward to the "40 Years of Bryant Fedden Workshops: A Celebration" exhibition catalogue: "the spirit of the 'bison-ness' of the creature is wonderful."
