Summary

Updated version of prior image, fair-use image of Boeing 777F removed, replaced with public domain WP image of Boeing 757-200 (Image:Icelandair.b757-200.tf-fiv.arp.jpg) - rest of images the same.

Revised version created by George William Herbert on 2007-07-17 and the combination work is licensed under GFDL and CC-BY-2.5.

Old Summary

This image is a combination of four other WP images: Image:Icelandair.b757-200.tf-fiv.arp.jpg (1) Image:NASA BWB.jpg (2) Image:USAF B-2 Spirit.jpg (3) Image:YB49-2 300.jpg (4).

This combined image shows the technical progression from standard airliner, through Blended Wing Body, hybrid BWB/Flying wing designs, and Flying Wing type aircraft.

This combined image was created by George William Herbert on 2006-05-03 and the combination work is licensed under the GFDL. NOTE that the source image copyrights still apply as well (see their respective pages).
