English: MANILA-PYONGYANG CULTURAL TIES: Ambeth Ocampo, chairman of the National Commission on Culture and Arts, shakes the hand of Mun Jae Choi, acting chairman of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK) Committee on Foreign-Cultural Relations, after the recent signing of the RP-DPRK Cultural Cooperation Agreement in Pyongyang, North Korea. Applauding are Senate President and Liberal Party head Franklin Drilon, Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel, Jr. and Choe Thae Bok, chairman of the North Korea Supreme Peoples Assembly. Drilon and Pimentel led a Senate delegation to North Korea last month as part of inter-parliamentary exchange visits designed to enhance improved bilateral relations between the two countries.
