Summary

Description
English: A U.S. Navy Douglas A-4C Skyhawk (BuNo 147704) from Attack Squadron VA-76 "Spirits" is loaded aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVAN-65). VA-76 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 6 (CVG-6) aboard the Big E for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea from 6 February to 4 September 1963.
The A-4C 147704 stayed with VA-76 and the Big E but was lost on 2 January 1966 when it crashed on the slope of a mountainside in thick fog at Duc Pho, Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam. The pilot was killed.
