Description
English: Belgian diesel shunters class 80 are derived from german V60's. SNCB has ordered 69 of them to his own national industry under licence of the german rail industry.

They start their duty in 1960, and were mostly retired in 2002 (3 of them were still in use at the Salzinnes central workshop.

This one is preserved by PFT-TSP (Touristic Rail Heritage) in Saint Ghislain
Français : Locotracteur diesel belge série 80. Cette série est dérivée des V60 allemandes. La SNCB en a fait construire 69 par l'industrie nationale Belge, sous licence allemande.

La série 80 a été livrée en 1960 et la plupart des machines fut retirée du service en 2002. Elle était emblématique des faisceau de manœuvre de la région Bruxelloise. Trois exemplaires ont prolongé leur carrière à l'atelier central de Salzinnes.

L'exemplaire de cette photo est conservé par le Patrimoine Ferroviaire Touristique (PFT-TSP). On la voit ici dans la cour de l'abri-musée de Saint Ghislain, devant une voiture M2.
