Summary

Description

Dodge offered four different wheelbases in 1973. The full size C body Dodge was the Polara, Polara Custom and Monaco. The compact A body was the Dart, in base, Custom, Sport and Swinger. The Challenger was built on Chryslers E body pony car platform. The mid size B body was the 4 door Sedan or Wagon Coronet and 2 door Charger. The Coronet was available inbase or Coronet Custom. The Charger in base, luxury SE or the sporty Rallye. For 1973, the Chargers received all new sheet metal, though at first glance only the rear roof C-Pillars looked different, the Charger was in fact longer, wider, and slightly taller than the 71/72 cars. The SE models no longer had hideaway headlights, but had a new roof treatment that had a triple opera windows surrounded by a vinyl roof.
