The Ferrari America was a top-end grand touring series built from 1951-67. Two of the series, the 400 and the 410, were called Superamerica.
The 410 Superamerica, built from 1955-59, only 35 were produced, they had a 335hp 5000 V12. Each 410 Superamerica had custom bodywork, with a few by Boano and Ghia but most by Ferrari stalwart, Pinin Farina.
The 400 Superamerica, built from 1959-64, only 47 were produced, they had a smaller, but still 340hp 4000 V12. They were available as a coupe, spider, or cabriolet with custom Pinin Farina bodywork. Series I coupés aerodinamico had open hood air scoop while series II cars had covered scoop and slightly longer wheelbase
