Summary

Description
English: "Oklundastenen" - A flat piece of rock containing 5 lines of a simpled form of runes, which is very unusual on runic stones and inscriptions. It is dating back to 9th century, 200 years before most of the other runic stones in Östergötland. The inscription is a historical legal document and describes a killer who fled to a holy place at Oklunda to escape blood feud. He later came to terms with the killed man´s family according to the law, with the help of the principal of the holy place.
