NTT docomo STYLE series P-02C (otherwise known as VIERA keitai P-02C or Panasonic P-02C) is a 3G mobile phone developed by Panasonic Mobile Communication for NTT Docomo as part of their "STYLE series" lineup.
Features[edit]
As a successor to the Summer 2009 model P-10A, the phone have continues to use the "W-Open style" form factor which is symbolic to Panasonic and allow the flip phone to be opened both vertically and horizontally, and the phone have also succeeded the waterproof functionality from its predecessor model. Compares to P-10A it is a little bit more rounded. With the waterproof spec of IPX5/IPX7, it is possible to enjoy watching TV via 1seg in the bathroom when bathing.Another feature of the phone is that , on the two side of the vertical back-side screen, there are notification light known as "Honey-cube Illumi" being available, which could change the color of the notification light according to the like of time or weather.
Camera[edit]
With 5.1 Megapixel Auto-Focus camera on the phone, it have added a feature called "love shutter" which can automatically take picture when the face of two people are getting close together. It is possible to select different distance trigger like "friends" or "lovers", and then there's also the group shutter function where user can set the amount of face being recognized (from 1 to 5) and automatically start selfie countdown once the matching amount of face have been recognized.There is also an "intelligent mode" which could automatically switch between different camera mods according to scene.
1seg[edit]
The 1seg feature of the phone have adopted an engine for VIERA keitai (with mobile PEAKS processor) which enable image calibration to TV signal received via the 1seg feature of the phone. In addition, it also support features like multi-window, pre-arranged viewing, pre-arranged recording. It can also support connecting with blu-ray disc recorders.
Other functionalities[edit]
A "view blind" feature have been included in the phone to prevent peeping. Also, there is a feature known as "Simple decomail" that can automatically insert appropriate decomail emoji (animated gif emoji service offered by carrier on the carrier-specific i-mode mobile network service) into articles written by users in a single click.
